Our Vision

Our vision at KineMo is to quantify and track over time, accurate, consistent whole-body kinematics of athlete movement during controlled exercise and in dynamic sports scenarios. We will provide this with a simple-to-use tool that can run on demand and scale across any level of a sport.

CONTACT US

KineMo began as a research project within Trinity College Dublin. Our team was initially approached by professional rugby clubs to look at head injury research. This research expanded to look at the application of AI to track movement kinematics and force directly from mobile video.

Both of the above (head injury assessment and force tracking from video) remain key elements of our research. Our initial product focus however is on accurate and consistent tracking of athlete kinematics from video initially.

There are several use cases in sports from screening athletes, identifying aberrant movement patterns, building robustness, tracking athlete progression during rehabilitation, tracking movement across long-term athlete development cycles, a duty of care in safely tracking athletes during development, tracking and gamifying skills progression and many more.

Outside of the above there are several other use cases across Yoga, Pilates, Gym, at-home fitness, online physiotherapy, broadcasting and more. KineMo’s technology can be provided directly or delivered as part of a broader integration offering  with key partners.
